Ashfield
A Skilled Team with a Shared Love for Early Learning
our Ashfield setting
We provide high-quality early years education for children aged 2 years to school age, in a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment where children are supported to learn, grow, and thrive. At our Summer House Children’s Centre on Clare Road, Ashfield, NG17 5BB, we operate a single, well-resourced room tailored to meet the needs of children in this age group.
Our setting is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 12:00pm, during term time only, offering flexible early education sessions that support families and prepare children for school. Our experienced and caring team follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to deliver a high standard of care and education, promoting curiosity, independence, and a love for learning in every child. We pride ourselves on offering a safe, inclusive environment where all children are respected, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
We’d love for you to come visit us.

Nutritional Info
At Busy Bunnies Nurseries healthy living is something that is very important to us. We will always provide children with varied, healthy snacks throughout the day and we change our snack menu termly to ensure that children are provided with a wide range of foods. Two of our Notingham settings have healthy cooked lunches provided. We ask our parents who provide a packed lunch for their child to ensure that the food in the children’s lunch boxes are healthy and nutritious. We do provide some healthy lunch ideas to those who may be struggling with ideas for their child’s lunch.
Famly
We are pleased to introduce Famly, a secure and user-friendly nursery management platform designed to enhance communication between our setting and families. Accessible via web browser or as a free app on iOS and Android devices, Famly keeps you connected with your child’s daily experiences. Through the app, you can view real-time updates on activities, meals, naps, and more. It also provides access to your child’s learning journey, allowing you to view observations and contribute your own. Additionally, Famly facilitates direct messaging with nursery staff, easy reporting of absences, and access to important documents such as newsletters and invoices. For families who speak English as an additional language, the app offers translation features to ensure clear and inclusive communication .
